Now that you know what we do, you may be wondering who needs our services. Many people need to hire a home inspector, and we will discuss some of them below.

Who Needs to Hire a Home Inspector?

  • Buyers- People who are buying a home can benefit from a home inspection because they will have a clear idea of what they are getting into before they officially buy the house they are looking at. If there are severe mold, foundation, or roof problems, a buyer can become aware of these and decide if they want to go through with the transaction or not.
  • Sellers- Sellers often need to hire a home inspector, so they can have an easier time selling their home. The last thing they want to do is get very close to selling only to have a buyer back out at the last minute because of problems identified in the home inspection. When sellers get a home inspection ahead of time, there is a smaller chance that a potential buyer will change their mind.
  • Real Estate Agents- Real estate agents may hire a home inspector because it helps them do their job better. A home inspection allows real estate agents to provide their clients with peace of mind and important information about a given house.
  • Homeowners- Homeowners that are not buying or selling may hire a home inspector if they suspect issues with their home. For instance, if they notice a strange, musty smell, they may ask for a mold inspection rather than a full home inspection.
